      <image:title>Portfolio - Lumira Process</image:title>
<image:caption>The Problem SAP Lumira is a product that allows business users to transform their data into meaningful answers. Each area in the product had been developed within different teams across the world which lead inconsistencies. My role was to lead the area of visualizations and determine with Stakeholders what the vision was and how to improve UX inconsistency across the application. Who I worked with I was the main designer on the visualization area for desktop, web and mobile as well as worked with three other lead designers on the product. I worked with POs, architects, engineers, developers, and data scientists to define the experience of new and existing items in the product. Product Goal The goal was to create a unified experience across the entire product. Each area should have consistent interaction patterns, toolbars and look and feel. User should be able to answer their business questions quickly with little understanding of how the product works. User Findings Throughout the process of consistency cleanup and introducing new items we collected feedback and did usability testing with customers on what was working and what wasn’t. This helped guide the direction of Lumira and improve many complicated workflows that existed in old software. Success Examples -Improved ease of use for visualization building workflows by redesigning easy access points for user navigation. -Redefined the way calculations are created for first time user. -Created consistent toolbars across the product with a new improved experience. -Successfully aligned visualization libraries, terminology and interaction patterns that could be use across the suite.</image:caption>
